Description

Bocconcino  is both a restaurant and pizzeria: modern establishment at the center of the capital furnished at the Italian style. At the entrance there is a special stove for baking of pizza where one can observe the virtuosic work of pizza baker, a big summer porch, high ceiling, elements of homelike décor, cupboards with dishware, curtains, sofas, big and small tables – all these elements create the real feeling of the Italian restaurant.

It’s no coincidence that the restaurant has the same name as the place  at the resort center of Italy (Forte Dei Marmi) - here everything sets up for resting  despite of the fact that the restaurant is located  in one of Kiev business centers.

Cuisine

Bocconcino menu covers many popular dishes from different parts of Italy. Here are the traditional risotto, lasagna, carpaccio, sea food… Certainly the special subject of pride is pasta. In Bocconcino there are about 10 kinds of handmade pasta, and twice as much - 22 kinds – of thin Tuscan pizza. Along with such popular dishes as Prosciutto di parma with melon, Brusсhetta  with buffalo mozzarella and prosciutto di parma, Cold tomato soup with  mozzarella and basil, the improvised Italian dishes of the chief cook also take the honored place! Maestro Andrea Nori can easily cook Pennette with scamps, asparagus and tomatos, Risotto with languistine and champagne, Ravioli with ricotta cheese and spinach, Cantucci with sparkling wine.

Andrea Nori is a dedicated chief cook. The native of Verona, Andrea is a charming and hardworking man, he can be often seen at the restaurant hall,  many dishes the chief cook serves by himself. It means that every guest of Bocconcino will for a while  feel himself at the heart of Italy  where one would like to return again and again!
